- Duration: Our air duct cleanings take an average of 3-8 hours. The total time spent servicing your home may depend on the size of your home, number of systems, and the specific services you have contracted with HYPER.
- Pet Safety: We love pets, but for the safety of us and your pets we ask that you kennel them. We will have multiple doors and/or windows open during this process. We do not want to lose your furry friends.
- Inspection: Our meticulous HVAC inspection is led by me, Mitch, a NADCA-certified Indoor Air Quality Expert with nearly two decades of experience. Alongside, you’ll be introduced to Mike, our long-term employee and family friend. Mike is a skilled technician with a unique approach to customer service, often providing insights that are both enlightening and delightful. He’ll guide you through your home to identify all vent locations while I focus on inspecting and testing for microbial growth in your ventilation system and air handler. Mike’s dedication and unique perspective are indispensable to our operation. His involvement not only enhances our service but also strengthens our team dynamic. We are truly thankful for your understanding and support, allowing Mike to play a significant role in our family’s mission to improve your home’s air quality.
- Payment: After your inspection is performed and before your home is serviced, we do require payment to be made in full. You may pay 1 out of 3 ways (CASH – CHECK – CREDIT CARD) if you choose to write us a check please have your identification handy so we can jot down your ID number in the memo section and verify your identity. If you choose to use a credit card that is great too! We do charge 4% on all credit card transactions. If you’re going to pay with a check it should be made out to (HYPER)
- Cleaning Process: We will start in the furnace/air handler area and when the cleaning process begins we will go to every single vent. Our cleaning process begins from the furthest and highest point away from your front door. We clean each vent individually so we will need access to every room.
- Workspace Preparation: It’s of the utmost importance you give us enough room around your furnace/air handler to complete the service with the highest quality possible. We want to be CLEAR that we are not a moving company. We do not take on any liability for broke items or damaged floors if we move something. Not having your home ready for our services could result in additional fees or the cancellation of your job. We charge $375 per system for appointments that are canceled. Please clear your driveway and walkways of vehicles, bikes, flowerpots, lights, snow, ice or anything fragile or breakable or that can be a trip hazard because our vehicles are BIG, and our equipment and hoses are bulky.
- Safety First: We ask that you maintain a minimum distance of 25 feet from the technician during the duration of the service. This is a ZERO tolerance policy and your appointment will be canceled if this policy is not followed. We use equipment that can cause serious injury if not operated by specialized and trained personnel. We work with high air pressure tools (225 PSI) that can pop, snap, burst, and break with little to no notice or warning, for this reason we ask that you maintain the minimum 25 foot distance for your protection. IF THIS POLICY IS NOT RESPECTED AND ACTIVELY FOLLOWED, WE WILL STOP WORKING AND CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT and your deposit will not be refunded and there will be a cancelation fee of $375 (per HVAC system.) EXAMPLE: If you have a 2 system home the cancelation fee would be $750. The cancelation fee must be paid in full to reschedule plus a non-refundable deposit of 50% would be required before rescheduling can take place, no exceptions. This is a ZERO tolerance policy.
- Questions: We know you’re excited and curious about how this service works. We will do our best to answer all your relevant questions. However, please keep in mind that we may have other appointments. We need to stay focused and maintain a good pace to provide great service to you and your home. Moreover, most of your questions can be answered on our website, BOOKHYPER.COM. We keep a vast list of videos that detail exactly how this service works, how the services are performed, as well as our company values.
- During Service: When the cleaning process begins and payment has been collected you may stay in your home or leave, run errands, etc… All of that is fine with us.
- CANCELATION FEE: We charge a $100-$500 (depending on the size of your job) non-refundable deposit per system to hold your spot on our schedule. This is to hold that spot we will not offer it to anyone else. If you cancel or reschedule you forfeit that deposit and would need to pay another deposit before we can reschedule you.At any time for $225 you can have a stand-alone NADCA certified full HVAC/mold inspection if you are unsure about the condition of your HVAC system(s) or want to know exactly what this service would cost for your home before we send technicians. there is a cancellation fee of $375 per system if we send technicians to your home and services are not performed.

First, we need to identify your DWELLING TYPE.

Homes with slabs, crawlspaces, and air handlers located in attic spaces may require additional work and could cost more.
It’s simple, we offer 2 Air Duct Cleaning Packages. The cost for our STANDARD Air Duct Cleaning is: Ranch $395 SYSTEM, 2 Story $495 SYSTEM, Townhouse $995 SYSTEM, TRI-LEVEL $1495 SYSTEM, Apartment/Condo $1495 PER SYSTEM depending on your dwelling type. You can also upgrade to our ADVANCED Air Duct Cleaning for an additional $250 PER SYSTEM.
(A SYSTEM qualifies as 1 air handler/furnace & 1 air conditioner – the furnace/air handler is not included in the cleaning process, but it is inspected FREE of charge – you can add a single furnace/air handler cleaning to your service for an additional $225.)
Our STANDARD Air Duct Cleaning is great for removing “LIGHT” dust and debris and includes the following:
1 Complete Air Duct System with 1 Zone to be cleaned.
The duct system is cleaned with a HIGH-POWERED TRUCK MOUNTED Negative Air Machine & Forward/Reverse Air Blast Balls connected to a HIGH-POWERED TRUCK MOUNTED Air Compressor.
(The furnace/air handler is not included during the air duct cleaning process. You can add a single furnace/air handler cleaning to your service for an additional $225.)

. Our ADVANCED air duct cleaning upgrade is the BEST option for homes that have never had their air ducts cleaned, had renovations & construction completed, or require any mold mitigation to be performed.
During the ADVANCED process we use our Full Contact Silica Carbide Hank Brush & POWERFUL Air Whips (like you may have seen in our videos or advertisements) on any ductwork/vents we can access. This process will agitate, dislodge, and break free embedded dust & debris within the interior walls of your ductwork. Our Silica Carbide Hank Brush will aggressively scrub your ductwork and provide a more comprehensive cleaning than the STANDARD package! Be advised these extra steps can add an additional hour to the job, depending on the complexity of your ductwork.
The only time we do not recommend an *ADVANCED* Air Duct Cleaning is if HYPER has cleaned your air ducts in the last 3-5 years or you have not had any recent renovations to your home since your last HYPER Air Duct Cleaning.

Legal Disclaimer for HVAC Services
Please be advised that homes featuring slabs, crawlspaces, and air handlers situated in attic spaces may necessitate additional work, potentially incurring higher costs. It is important for homeowners to understand that any dwelling testing positive for microbial growth cannot undergo our standard cleaning procedures. For the safety and well-being of our customers, the occupants of the home, our staff, and the protection of your property, such projects must be approached as mitigation jobs.
In cases of uncertainty regarding the condition of your HVAC system or the presence of microbial growth, we strongly recommend our NADCA Certified Full HVAC Inspection, available at a fee of $225. This inspection is designed to identify any issues that may require special attention.
Should a positive result for microbial growth be identified and you decide against proceeding with our services, you have the option to either cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please note, a cancellation fee of $375 per HVAC system will be applied. For example, for a home with two HVAC systems, the total cancellation fee would be $750. This fee must be paid in full before any rescheduling can be considered. Additionally, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the estimated service cost will be required to secure a new appointment. Please be aware, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding these terms.

During this process our CERTIFIED personal will disassemble your furnace, slide out your coils and/or remove plates (if possible) to clean the top and bottom of your coils, condensation drain tube, with pressurized air, specialty brushes, dedicated tools, and our approved chemicals designed specifically for condenser coils. Your technicians will then proceed to clean your blower motor. Please note that the blower motor is not removed, but it is cleaned very thoroughly. It is aggressively cleaned with high powered air, physically brushed, and scrubbed under negative vacuum pressure.
(If we “SUSPECT” Microbial Growth is present in the ductwork or air handler/furnace we will review potential mold remediation options before beginning with the Furnace/Air Handler Cleaning Service). We will go over additional options at the time of your appointment.
If the blower motor needs to be removed, broken down, and cleaned, we can address that with you at the time of your service appointment. This is not something that is commonly required, pricing for this additional task/service can range from $250 to $1,500 depending on the complexity.
(If we “SUSPECT” Microbial Growth is present in the ductwork or air handler/furnace we will review potential mold remediation options before beginning with the Furnace/Air Handler Cleaning Service). We will go over additional options at the time of your appointment.
If the blower motor needs to be removed, broken down, and cleaned, we can address that with you at the time of your service appointment. This is not something that is commonly required, pricing for this additional task/service can range from $250 to $1,500 depending on the complexity.
If you have one HVAC System and two thermostats, we charge $175 per Additional Electronic Zone. If you have branches with multiple Electronic Zones (not very common) it might be best to reach out to our office and disclose this. How do you know if you have this? Trust me, you would know.
We do not use any chemicals in our air duct cleaning process, but it is an option if you have concerns about a Smell, Bad Odor, or Mold in your duct work. The charge for the Anti-microbial application is $100 per HVAC system. We use a product called Benefect Decon 30, this is an EPA registered product. You do not have to leave the home for any reason. This product helps eliminate 99.9% of bacteria, mold spores and virus in your HVAC system, but does NOT prevent it from happening again – for that we would recommend our WHOLE House UV Air Purifiers if you are concerned about mold growth, bad odors, airborne virus, bacteria and extreme dust build up.
Unfortunately, mold is a serious issue in ductwork, air handlers, and furnaces in the Midwest. There are less than a handful of certified companies licensed to handle mold remediation in ventilation systems within our service area. We at HYPER have vowed and promised to handle these situations with extreme care, caution, and safety in mind. If suspected microbial growth is found in your ductwork or air handler/furnace we will reevaluate the course of action for your safety and ours.
In most cases we can still perform the work at your scheduled appointment time, but we must follow the NADCA standards and guidelines.
When remediating suspected mold in your HVAC system we follow the protocols and standards set by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association, also known as (NADCA.) NADCA says that “all HVAC components should be cleaned, restored, and contaminated porous materials should either be replaced or coated/sealed.” So, during a Suspected HVAC Mold Remediation your furnace/air handler will be cleaned and remediated. Your ductwork would be cleaned on our ADVANCED level of air duct cleaning. Porous materials, and fiberboard, fiberglass insulated ductwork that is visibly contaminated or has tested positive for microbial-growth will be offered to be coated, sealed, or replaced and sanitized. We test every air handler with a cotton swab test that produces test results immediately unless the Homeowner has specifically requested us not to.
Unfortunately, there is no way to determine if you have microbial growth without an in-person inspection which is FREE during our air duct cleaning service. You can schedule a full NADCA HVAC inspection prior to your appointment, the cost is $225 and this would take out all of the guesswork.
Fortunately, in the Midwest, we don’t often deal with Furnace/Air Handlers in the attic or crawlspace.
Most residential homes are built with basements and that is where your Furnace/Air Handler can be found.
In the event you do have a home that we will need to work in your attic or crawlspace, there is a fee associated with that as this slows down the project significantly.
Our STANDARD air duct cleaning: Ranch $395, 2 Story $495, Townhouse $995, Tri-Level $1495, Apartment/Condo $1495 prices are good for single system homes up to 2,500 square feet. It’s $150 more for single system homes larger than 2,500 square feet. Please keep this in mind if you have a finished basement.

We perform a full video inspection, before and after servicing your dryer vent. We perform an air pressure test with anemometer, before and after servicing. We inspect for damage, blocks, & clogs. The dryer vent is cleaned while under POWERFUL HEPA vacuum pressure and with our POWERFUL brush system.
